Super Bowl Sunday is just a few hours away as the world waits to watch what the 55th sting of the mega championship will unfold. Along with a dream lineup of Super Bowl performers and a number of pre-game shows to keep the viewers hooked to the screen, here’s a quick sneak peek at all the movie trailers that we might see during the Super Bowl commercials as well.
Movie trailers released during the Super Bowl ads are an event in itself as the huge viewership counting to over a minimum of 100 million makes it a lucrative spot for moviemakers to launch their trailers. While with the pandemic still in play, this year a number of big streaming services are sitting out of the Super Bowl play, quite a few trailers are still confirmed to grab the eyeballs.

According to Deadline, an average 30 seconds slot in the Super Bowl will cost around $5.5 million this year, slightly less than 2020’s cost which rounded up at $5.6 million.

Disney will reportedly have more than a slot for this year’s Super Bowl ads. According to a Deadline report, Disney can have up to four ads this year which will definitely feature some of Marvel’s coming releases including ‘Loki’ and ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ and may also give a slot for May 7 summer release ‘Black Widow’.

Hulu
According to reports, Hulu is not going to boast any ads this year on Super Bowl Sunday.
Universal
Universal will likely drop an ad for their July release of M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Old’. The Academy Award-nominated filmmaker has given a sneak peek of the teaser through Instagram and the thriller promises a storyline woven through different timescapes and the mystery starts to unveil after a dead body has been discovered on a beach far away from the human eyes.

Amazon will likely have an ad for the movie ‘Coming 2 America’ directed by Craig Brewer, from a screenplay written by Kenya Barris, Barry W. Blaustein, and David Sheffield, and the story is based on the writeup of Blaustein, Sheffield, and Justin Kanew. The characters were created by Eddie Murphy. The sequel to the 1980’s hit film ‘Coming to America’.
Netflix and Sony may also air some of their trailers this year. But nothing has been confirmed by the companies.

The 2021 Super Bowl halftime show will begin at around 8 pm ET, approximately 90 minutes after kickoff. Super Bowl LV will air on February 7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, starting at 6.30 pm ET.
