NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The fan base of 'Suits' continues to grow even after five years of its conclusion. The American legal drama premiered on USA Network in 2011 and captivated audiences for nine seasons.

With its availability on Peacock and Netflix, the series experienced an extraordinary surge in popularity.

'Suits' not only delivered strong performances from its lead cast members but also kept viewers engaged with nail-biting drama till the finale season.

As we look back at the series ahead of its spin-off 'Suits: LA', there are several exciting moments that can be watched repeatedly. However, the one episode that stands out is 'This is Rome' from Season 4.

What makes 'Suits' Season 4 Episode 10 so special?

Titled 'This is Rome', Episode 10 of Season 4 sheds light on Rick Hoffman's acting chops. Hoffman, as Louis Litt, skillfully delves into both deep vulnerability and his notorious, hateful side like never before.

In this game-changing episode, Mike Ross' (Patrick J Adams) secret that began with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), and was later known by Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), falls into the hands of Louis, who is widely distrusted at Jessica's law firm.

The episode delivers a powerful punch with two intense scenes, each showcasing Rick Hoffman's remarkable range as Louis Litt.

In the first, Donna finds Louis in Harvey's office. As she inquires about his unexpected presence, we witness Louis's demeanor shift from amusement and quiet intensity to rage and sadness.

He’s hurt by Donna's betrayal—her lying and covering up Mike’s fraudulent position at the firm.

Louis has uncovered the truth via the golden key, which all Harvard graduates receive, and Mike would have known about it if he were truly a graduate of the prestigious institute.

He is ready to expose Mike and have him arrested for fraud along with Harvey and Jessica, (probably Donna too). He leaves Donna in shock and heads to confront Jessica.

Jessica responds with icy control, admitting she’s a liar and a hypocrite but refusing to apologize.

When she asks what he wants, Louis reveals his ambition: he wants to be made a name partner. The firm will now be known as Pearson Specter Litt.

This confrontation was brilliantly executed. Jessica's expression after Donna's call, Louis’ calm entrance turning into explosive anger, and the final reveal of Louis’ long-held desire made for a gripping scene.

Up until this moment, Mike's secret had driven many of the show's plotlines, affecting Mike’s relationships and causing tension at the firm. But Louis knowing the secret took the show in a new direction, altering power dynamics, character arcs, and relationships.

Louis' promotion to name a partner reshaped the power structure within the firm. He directly confronted Harvey and even took Donna from him, leading to major conflicts.

It also united Jessica, Harvey, Louis, Donna, and Rachel against external challenges like never before.
