'Stranger Things' Season 4 Volume 2 might have just two episodes, but the explosive trailer took Twitter by storm when it teases an epic face-off between Hawkin's heroes and Vecna, the new-and-savage demonic wizard. There's enough in the trailer that suggests that not everyone is going to make it out alive, and they don't mind if they don't. But there have been leaks doing the rounds in social media, and should they indeed be true, then it's not good for some major characters.

The high-octane two-minute clip with Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' blasting in the background sees the team unite and finally gives Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) the guitar. Music was shown to play a pivotal role in breaking out of Vecna's shackles and what better way to have some 80s rock in the Upside Down. At the other end, Eleven (Mille Bobby Brown) with her restored powers has no choice, but to return to Hawkins to take the evil on, even as Martin Brenner expresses his skepticism about her abilities not ready to handle Vecna.

There's enough of Max (Sadie Sink) to suggest that she will square off against Vecna again, while Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), and Robin (Maya Hawke) reunite suggesting that both of them made it out of the Upside Down. Meanwhile in Russia, the trio of Jim Hopper (David Harbour), Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman), and Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) still continue to take down the Russians and the demodogs. The Demogorgon returns for Round 2 as they roll up their sleeves to decimate that threat.

'Stranger Things' Season 4 Volume 2 Trailer and the leaks

Will's (Noah Schnapp) death was one of the leaks that caused a flutter. "Replying to@Stranger_Things The leak is true then," one of the fans tweeted after a note read that Will dies at the hands of Vecna. There was also another leaked image that said Eddie would be the other character to die in the Upside Down. So was the guitar solo one final showstopper? "// stranger things leaks /SRS someone got the ST monopoly and posted about it in APRIL and this is one of the cards… eddie isn’t saving anyone he’s the DISTRACTION," a tweet read. "if the spoiler leak i just saw about stranger things is true i’m going to surrender to vecna bye guys," a fan remarked.

"I have such a love/hate relationship with Stranger things trailers. They spoil so much stuff that between the trailers and the leaks we can put together almost the entire plot, but they're so freaking beautiful and masterfully done that I'm always left absolutely speechless," one of the tweets read. "yeah he said heapssss of stuff in the space including a bunch of byler stuff so i feel like worst case if the her eyes open leak is real then all of this is real too and if it’s fake then we win anyway," one of the comments said.
