NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Martin and Short are humorous at their best! 'Saturday Night Live' was graced by Steve Martin and Martin Short reading each other's eulogies in the opening monologues. The show was also spiced up with an appearance by her 'Only Murders in the Building' co-star Selena Gomez. Brandi Carlile was the musical guest and performed 'The Story' an older hit song.

This is not the first time that the two stars have hosted the SNL. In fact, this was Martin’s 16th time hosting and Short’s third. Short began with a bombshell opening saying, "You see, we are like Harry and Meghan (referring to the new Netflix docuseries). No one’s rooting for us, but you’ll tune in to watch anyway." Martin began reading his eulogy, "It’s sad because you won’t be able to hear the wonderful things I’m going to say at your memorial. So, I thought why wait? So, what I did was I wrote up your eulogy so you can hear it now. I will always be haunted by Marty’s last words, Tesla autopilot engage." On the other hand, Short replied, "I learned so much from Steve. For example, he taught me that you don’t need to restrict the urinal to just number one." Check out the full monologue below.
