In 2021, Hulu hit the jackpot with ‘Only Murders in the Building’, which turned out to be one of the most intriguing shows on streaming platforms in recent history. The show revolved around three strangers named Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel, who shared an obsession with true-crime podcasts.

However, their lives turn upside down when a murder takes place in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building, the Arconia, the three neighbors decide to start their own podcast and start sharing the information about their investigation in the case. Police believe that it was a suicide however, the trio is sure that it was a murder.

The series opened to a bumper response and received universal acclaim. It didn’t come as a shock when Hulu revealed that ‘Only Murders in the Building’ was the most-watched comedy premiere in Hulu history.  The first edition currently holds a rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and received three nominations at the Golden Globes as well as SAG Awards.

Season 2 will continue from where we left off and things will get really intense for the trio as they have been taken into custody as prime suspects. Here’s everything you need to know about Season 2.

When does ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 2 release and where can you watch it?

Season 2 of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ will be premiering exclusively on Hulu on Tuesday, June 28. It will be a two-hour premiere and the show will air the first two episodes on the same. For watching the show, viewers can download the app from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.

On the other hand, Hulu is available on devices such as Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Samsung TV, VIZIO SmartCast TVs, and Xbox.

What is ‘Only Murders in the Building’ all about?

The official synopsis reads, “Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver & Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue – the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.”

Who stars in the Hulu series?

The trio of Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez will be returning for Season 2 and they’ll be reprising their roles of Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam, and Mabel Mora. On the other hand, Cara Delevingne will be one of the new actors joining the show. She will be portraying Alice in the upcoming season.
