‘Station 19’ has a bundle of shocks and surprises in store for you, and in its third episode, the ABC show is bringing back one of the most hated characters. Played by Pat Healy, Fire Chief Michael Dixon came as a replacement for Lucas Ripley. In the Season 3 Finale, Dixon was fired after Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) confessed to the Civil Service Commission that he took drugs and Dixon knew about it. Sacked amid full media attention, his exit was one of the biggest reasons to rejoice for fans and the firefighters. Although the Shondaland produced show is on a break for Thanksgiving, the next episode will bring back his character and fans are wondering why is he back.

Titled ‘We Are Family’, the one-hour drama will shed light on Sullivan's hearing. In a new 30-second promo, Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) asks Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre) if she will testify at Robert's hearing. She then hopes to see "what kind of person her husband really is." As the trial begins, Emmett Dixon (Lachlan Buchanan) is quizzed if he saw when Sullivan OD'ed in his own office and then they ask for Mr Dixon to be brought in.

Later, Sullivan confesses to Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr), who becomes his addict recovery partner, "If I lose my career today here, I don't think I'll be able to stay clean." In another snippet, Ben Warren (Jason George) tells Andy he wants to tell the truth and Ben himself is warned to not take the whole 19 down along with Sullivan.

The summary of the episode reads: "The future of Sullivan’s career hangs in the balance as his disciplinary hearing gets underway, and Ben, Dr Richard Webber, Emmett Dixon and former Fire Chief Dixon are called to testify. Meanwhile, the crew investigates an electrical fire at a neglected apartment building that serves as the home and performance space for some of Seattle’s most prominent drag queens."

No sooner was the teaser posted, fans couldn't stop wondering why Dixon was back. "Captain Dixon was a piece of s--t and he reminds me a whole lot of all of Trump's cronies. I hope someone puts a thumbtack on his chair next episode," one said and another wrote, "D--kson and Trump act just alike."

Many asked if he was arrested last season. "I thought Dixon was in jail. Wasn’t he arrested in the finale?" one said and another replied, "Yeah, but he got deep corrupted pockets. Maybe he got released." A third posted, "I’m so glad they just separated for his sobriety & not actually separated! But my god that D--Kson guy is so annoying! Shouldn’t he be in jail? Or did he call in more favors?" A fourth fan wrote, "Pissed to see Chief Dixon (guess he made bail or something, but he that guy needs to be arrested)."

One fan shared his theory: "If Shonda Rhimes truly loves us, she will make it a slap on the wrist because Chief Dixon knew and did nothing about it. That will cover Robert. Maybe he won't come back in the same position but he could work as a firefighter. They might even create a new position for him as someone who will help other firefighters on the job who have been hooked on meds because of an on-the-job injury.....etc. So many possible outcomes really."

The crossover episode of ‘Station 19’ Season 4 x ‘Grey's Anatomy’ Season 17 premiered on Thursday, November 12, as it aired at 8 pm ET on ABC. Following that, episodes will air weekly on Thursday at 8 pm ET. Catch the third episode on Thursday, December 3, 2020, on ABC.
