'Stargirl' Finale: Now that the ISA adults are dead, the stage is set for their children to unleash hell

Most of the ISA gets eliminated in the final episode of 'Stargirl'. So does that mean one of their kids becomes villain next season?

'Stargirl' Season 1 had such a Disney-fied finale that it was almost hard to believe at first. Honestly, we were sure that something was going to wreck the Whitmore-Dugan Christmas at the end of the episode and someone was going to die as promised, but that didn't happen, though Shiv (Meg DeLacy) did look rather mysterious. That leaves us wondering, apart from Cindy, who will be the villains for Season 2? Most of the ISA (Injustice Society Of America) was wiped out by the young JSA (Justice Society Of America).

At the beginning of the episode, it seemed as if the ISA were successful with their diabolic plan. Brainwave (Christopher James Baker) had managed to control all the adults in Blue Valley, including Pat (Luke Wilson) and Barbara (Amy Smart). A telepathically-controlled Pat was about to fight Courtney, till she adopted the oldest trick of all time — got through to him emotionally and told him what he had always wanted to hear.

She said that he was her father and he had always been there for her. Miraculously, Pat broke free of Brainwave's control and begins to fight by her side again. Thanks to Beth's (Anjelika Washington) help, they were able to put an end to the ISA's plans right there. The much-awaited ISA-JSA showdown happened, and we got a Stargirl vs Shiv 2.0 that didn't land Courtney in the emergency room this time. Even without much training, the JSA was able to destroy the ISA rather easily.

Wildcat (Yvette Monreal) showed her dark side and that she is capable of murder, as she seemed to have murdered Brainwave in cold blood. But hey, she wasn't the only one, as Mike (Trae Romano) ran down Icicle (Neil Jackson)...and he's a 12-year-old. This was supposed to be a funny scene because Mike asks "Do I get to be a part of the JSA?" Sure Mike, as you can kill without batting an eyelid too, great days await you. Oh, and Dragon King was killed too, by his own daughter, Shiv.

So the ISA is out of the way. But what does this mean? Who will be the villains for Season 2? Well, apart from Shiv, it's quite likely that Cameron, Icicle's son, might be fuelled by revenge to take down the JSA. Till now, he's just been the popular teen in school, who seems to be besotted with Courtney. The fact that she might have something to do with the murder of his father, might put an end to their romance.

Sportsmaster and Tigress' daughter, Artemis Crock, is waiting in the wings too along with Anaya Bowen's son. The JSA might not have it too easy in the next round. 'Stargirl' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm on The CW,
