'Sometimes you bust your a**': Halle Berry mocks herself for FACEPLANT at charity event
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Halle Berry posted a video of herself falling to the ground as she walked up the stairs to speak at a charity event in Los Angeles on Friday, February 10. The 56-year-old Oscar winner mocked herself over the embarrassment and didn't mind making fun of herself.
"Sometimes you bust your a**!" Berry wrote in the caption before explaining what happened. "My dear friend @shillahekmatpiano invited me to speak at her charity event celebrating a wonderful organization called @lookingbeyondla that raises money for children with special needs… then that happened!!! I face planted," she wrote, before asking her followers to donate to the cause.

'Van's coming for you'
In the video, Berry is shown walking toward the platform before falling to her face, at which point the image stops and a red arrow points to her shoe. "Yup, that's me" the audio states, "You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation," before playing a portion of Boney Ms' 'Rasputin'. The song plays over several angles of Berry falling taken from a trending TikTok video. Berry was giggling at the situation as the audience applauded before she started her address, and she put her palm over her face.
"Okay, if I see this on the Internet, Van's coming for you," the 'Bruised' director warned the crowd, referring to her partner Van Hunt. Halle had an edgy blonde haircut and looked stunning in a black metal-studded Zuhair Murad outfit with shoes by Stuart Weitzman. The 'Frankie & Alice' actress posted a photo of the ensemble on February 10 with the caption, "Friday Serve."
Halle appointed as Chief Communications Officer
Berry is now in production for the science fiction film 'The Mothership' and the spy thriller 'Our Man From Jersey' with Mark Wahlberg. Berry also has two Netflix projects in the works. In the movie 'The Mothership', Berry, who is also an executive producer, plays Sara Morse, a single mother whose children find an alien craft under their house. In 'Our Man from Jersey', Berry plays Roxanne, Wahlberg's high school girlfriend who introduces the construction worker to the world of espionage, as per Daily Mail.
Halle is also aiming to bring about change in the health and wellness industry in addition to supporting charitable causes and producing movies. She was recently appointed as the chief communications officer for Pendulum Therapeutics. She announced the news in a video that she recently posted to her Instagram account on February 9. "I am now a part of a team of world-class researchers and scientists that care about nothing more other than bringing the latest information to you guys about metabolic health," she said.
