Actress Halle Berry kicked off Super Bowl LVI with an introductory video that made fans scratch their heads about whether Super Bowl is actually scripted. Such conspiracy theories have existed for long and Halle Berry's video seemed to jokingly hint at a similar idea. The video showed the 55-year-old actress introducing the Super Bowl in a grand fashion, before the set decor behind her is removed and she appears to be asking, "We're done here I hope? Coz I don't wanna miss kickoff."

Berry created quite a buzz among the audience with her surprise appearance, as fans lauded her youthful looks and glamorous avatar. However, it was her dialogues that kicked off a social media storm on whether the celebrations around the country's annual NFL game are all scripted.

Berry shared the video on her personal Twitter profile with the caption, "Welcome to the #SuperBowl 😉."

"Halle Berry looking good af and telling us the NFL is scripted," a fan joked, while another chimed in, "This short film with Halle Berry is the #NFL subliminal way of telling us it’s scripted and about the best characters the sports have to offer. Why are we comparing actors and movies to the NFL!"

A third fan noted, "Halle Berry is telling you that today's game is scripted.
She knows who wins. Back her bets."

However, the video irked a few fans as they dubbed it a 'bad PR move'. One fan tweeted, "They had Halle Berry do a whole montage saying how @NFL and Hollywood are basically one in the same. It was total BS. From the reaction I have seen I'm not the only one who had that take. Lots of people saying they basically admitted the games are rigged and scripted. Bad PR move." Another fan agreed, "No Hollywood and Football do not go together….Have the Super Bowl in Canton, Ohio!"
