When life coach and social media influencer Solomon Buchi posted a love letter to his fiancée on Instagram, he surely wasn't prepared for the heat he would receive.

'Not the Most Beautiful Woman'
Solomon, while sharing a slew of photos with his fiancée, wrote in the caption, "You’re not the most beautiful woman." He added, "Neither are you the most intelligent woman, but like I’ve chosen to never find perfection in anyone else. I put my gaze on you, and with that commitment, we would mold ourselves for ourselves. Our perfection is in our commitment."
Solomon continued in the caption, "Stating that you’re not the most beautiful/intelligent might sound like it’s not a compliment, yeah? But it’s a realistic base for real love."
He further wrote, "This to me is the real love. Not the one that consoles itself in the faux reality that their partner is the most good looking, most intelligent, most successful person in the world. That’s disingenuous and doesn’t give room for love to thrive."
Social media blasts him
Solomon acknowledged that "my woman isn’t the best, but I’m not looking for the best. I was looking for you and I found you. There’s no best, there is just someone you choose and see the best in them."
Many women called out the influencer in the comment section and criticized him for not admiring her beauty after which he turned off comments.
A Twitter user wrote, "Men don’t care… they live to embarrass women.” Another user said that Solomon only pointed out flaws and that it had "no praises" at all.

Ain’t no way the relationship is continuing after this post🌚
He pointed out two huge flaws, offered no praises or admiration for even 1 lovable quality about her, praised himself in the process “for choosing her” anyone who sees this as an “awwwnn” moment is just evil. https://t.co/5EwhQUAGvQ

Some users, however, believed that Solomon's message had been misunderstood. One Twitter user wrote, "I don't get the fuss. I'm a woman, and yet I perfectly understand Solomon Buchi's message. He simply meant she may not be the best in the world, but she was best for him. Besides, as long as his woman ain't say shit about not liking it, I wonder why it's such a topic."
Another user said that Solomon should have made two different posts. The user wrote, "He should have appreciated his wife in one post and left it at that, while in the second post, he can advise people in relationships to find perfection in their partners without referring to his fiance."

I understand what he is saying but it should have been two separate posts. He should have appreciated his wife in one post and left it at that, while in the second post, he can advise people in relationships to find perfection in their partners without referring to his fiance. https://t.co/fGmCPWMUNF
