Snoop Dogg scores another 'Gin and Juice' hit, makes Guinness record for 'the largest paradise cocktail'
If you have even the faintest knowledge of the legendary "Double G", chances are that you'll know the significance of a Gin and Juice in Snoop Dogg's work.
The drink famously featured in the hit track 'Gin and Juice' from Snoop's 1994 album 'Doggystyle'. Now, Snoop's found another bizarre way of making history, this time thanks to a larger-than-life version of the said drink, reports Complex.
This past Saturday (26 May), Snoop Dogg decided to help take his love of the mixed drink to the next level, by assisting in the production of a world record-breaking gin and juice cocktail.
The event took place at the Bottlerock 2018 music festival in Napa Valley, California. The festival places a great emphasis on the food as well as the music, so Snoop was assisted by some incredibly talented chefs.
Snoop received some help from longtime collaborator Warren G and Top Chef's Michael Voltaggio to successfully enter the Guinness Book of World Records for creating "the largest paradise cocktail".
The rapper took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion and posted a picture standing next to a massive glass of gin and juice that's so tall he has to reach above his head in order to stir it. Another picture shows Snoop looking ever deifant, crouching next to the massive drink, holding up his plaque from Guinness Book of World Records, which officially states the following:
"The largest cocktail was created by Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Michael Voltaggio, Kim Kaechele and Randall Coleman (All USA) in Napa, California, USA on 26 May 2018."
