Smashing Pumpkins extend 30th anniversary tour with new dates

The shows also coincide with the release of Smashing Pumpkins' first album featuring the band's original lineup since 2000

On the heels of the band’s well-received 'Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour' — which marked the trio’s first tour dates together in two decades — Smashing Pumpkins have added a series of dates celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s creation.

Following the previously announced sold-out November 30th hometown show at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, frontman Billy Corgan, bassist James Iha, and guitarist Jimmy Chamberlin will bring the 30th anniversary trek to the Midwest and Southwest, hitting cities like St. Louis, Tulsa, San Antonio, Tucson and Phoenix. Tickets for the new dates go on sale October 5th at the Pumpkins' official website.
