Season 6 of ‘Silicon Valley’ is almost at the doorstep and honestly, while the show has definitely earned the upcoming season, it is also a good thing it’s coming to an end. The final season poses to be wilder than all previous seasons.

At the end of season 5, the gang realized that PiedPiperCoin was gaining traction on the cryptocurrency market, allowing them to open up new offices and invest in their new venture. But before things get better, they will get worse.

At the very end of the finale, we saw the National Security Agency asking questions about this “new Internet” -- PiperNet. If that was enough to make Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) vomit then season 6 will definitely see more showers of puke.

In the trailer, we see a very nervous (more nervous than Mark Zuckerberg) Richard addressing a Congressional hearing about PiperNet and assuring data privacy -- “internet of the people, by the people and for the people”.

What’s worse is that towards the end of the trailer, Monica Hall (Amanda Crew) says they could all end up in prison, and that’s not a good sign for either Pied Piper or Richard’s weak stomach. While all throughout the show we saw Pied Piper reaching new heights and immediately facing setbacks, one has to wonder if that’s how the show will finally end.

Gavin Belson (Matt Ross) is also getting screwed -- his company Hooli is about to be acquired by Amazon and Gavin will be out -- and that is always good news; the trailer even shows the “i” from the Hooli logo crashing down to earth. But Gavin and Richard’s fate cannot be the same.

Yes, ups and downs are a part of the real Silicon Valley, but Richard, Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani), Gilfoyle (Martin Starr), Monica and Jared (Zach Woods) deserve a happy ending, don’t they? Even if we see Zach throwing a profanity-laced scream at Richard and chasing him around!

‘Silicon Valley’ Season 6 premieres October 27 on HBO.
