A Nordic noir vibe is perfect for quarantine nights, and Netflix's release of the Polish drama, 'Signs', is perfect for lovers of murder/crime thrillers. The show first premiered in Poland on October 10, 2018. If you've watched 'The Woods,' and loved it, this may be the show for you. As a new crime seems to have similarities with an old cold case, authorities have to unveil daunting truths. The trailer is almost sickening in its dark art, with its Nordic noir aesthetic excelling in its cinematography and direction. This is what we know of the upcoming Netflix release of season 1 of 'Signs' originally titled 'Znaki.'

Plot

Netflix's official synopsis reads, "When a young woman's murder shows similarities to a decades-old cold case, a new police commander must break the silence permeating an Own Mountain town.'

Konopka is a Polish actor most notably known for his roles as Krzysztof 'Doktor' Starowicz in 'The Border' (2014), Perkusista in 'The Lure' (2015), Nogaj in 'Solid Gold' (2019) and Krzysiek Jurecki in 'Nie rób scen' (2015).

Helena Sujecka as Adrianna Nieradka

Sujecka is a Polish actress, known for her roles as Kitka in 'Wonderful Summer' (2010), Asia in 'Little Crushes' (2014), Elena Dovlatova in 'Dovlatov' (2018) and Helena in the upcoming 'Marygoround.' (2020). Her other works include 'Dark, Almost Night,' 'Ultraviolet,' 'The Innocents' and many more. Other cast members include Piotr Trojan as Krzysztof Sobczyk, Magdalena Zak as Nina Trela, Michal Czernecki as Blazej Nieradka, Miroslaw Kropielnicki as Antoni Paszke and many more.

Creators

Jakub Miszczak, Monika Filipowicz and Marcin Ziebinski serve as directors. Miszczak, Andrzej Muszynski and Paulina Rzazewska-Bednarczyk serve as executive producers.
