Sia ‘Music’: Release date, tracklist, concept and all you need to know about singer’s motion picture-inspired album

Australian singer-songwriter Sia, who is famous for hiding her face with huge wigs in order to protect her privacy, is all set to drop her brand new album titled ‘Music’ in 2021. The 44-year-old renowned singer, who has belted out hits like ‘Chandelier’, ‘Cheap Thrills’ and ‘Titanium’ with David Guetta, and ‘Diamonds’ with Rihanna, shared the big news on her official Twitter account with the cover art and the caption which read, “Music, the album, drops February 12th, 2021 and includes Hey Boy, Together, Courage to Change, and Saved My Life.”



 

Sia’s new project titled ‘Music’ will be her ninth studio effort and is a follow-up to her 2017 album ‘Everyday Is Christmas’. Interestingly, Sia is dropping a feature film with the same name starring Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr & Maddie Ziegler.

Release date

Sia’s album ‘Music’ will hit the Internet on February 12, 2021, via Monkey Puzzle and Atlantic Records. The new album is up for pre-order here.

Concept

Though Sia has not shed any light on her new record, she did share the cover art on her official Twitter account which features a smiling face with two sunny side-ups placed on a white plate along with the ketchup drawn in the form of a smile. The bright yellow background mentions the singer’s name along with the name of the album. It also mentions that songs in her album are inspired by her motion picture which will be released at the same time.

Tracklist

The singer has not divulged any details on the tracklist, except we know the project will be stacked with 14 tracks, as published by Pitchfork. However, she did release a new song called ‘Hey Boy’ to announce her album. Her tweet also confirmed that her 2020 singles like ‘Together’, ‘Courage to Change’ and ‘Saved My Life’ will be very much part of the project.
