LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former lovers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello may have rekindled their romance following their famous PDA-filled Coachella weekend at Indio, California. While previous sources claimed otherwise, a surfaced clip showing the ex-lovers hand-in-hand strolling down the street in Venice on Wednesday, April 19, reportedly "confirms" that the artists are back together. However, an official announcement from the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' singer is still awaited.

In the circulated video, Mendes and Cabello can be seen sporting relaxed outfits as the former donned a beige sweatshirt along with matching pants while the 'Havana' singer opted for a baggy white shirt underneath a beige sweater and a pair of light blue jeans. The pair were reportedly walking close to a bank of restaurants. This is not the first time, the rumored couple were spotted on a stroll as Mendes and Cabello were often captured together doing the same when they were dating back in 2020. The pair were also roasted online for their "creepy" slow walks during the pandemic.

Viral clip confirms Mendes and Cabello are back together

According to an Australian journalist, the video of the pair holding hands and waking together in Los Angeles on April 19, confirms that they are back together. Speaking to Harper's Bazaar Australia, Jessica Rendall admitted to seeing Mendes and Cabello on that night. “My jaw instantly dropped and he laughed and nodded at my reaction to seeing them together,” Rendall told the outlet. “They were holding hands pretty tightly and seemed very snug and in love,” Rendall added. “They were deep in conversation about something so I didn’t want to stop them and ask for a photo.”

'They're seeing where it goes'

According to Page Six, the pair is enjoying each other's company and seeing where it can go. “[They are] hanging out again,” the source dished, adding, “They’re enjoying getting reacquainted and seeing where it goes. [They] care about each other a lot.”

'Are you guys back together?'

Another instance confirming the reconciliation rumors of the pair took place earlier this week when Cabello was asked "Are you guys back together?" by a paparazzo, referring to her and Mendes. Despite shying away from the camera, the 'Senorita' hitmaker replied, "Yes," as she continued to walk with her friends before being called by her rumored beau. The viral video ignited excitement among fans with many eagerly waiting for an official announcement from the pair.
