'She loves her grandma duties': Sharna Burgess relies on her mom 'a lot' after baby with Brian Austin Green
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sharna Burgess is grateful to her mother for helping her when she needed it most and showing her what it means to be a mother. In her latest Instagram post, the 'Dancing with the Stars' actress shared photos of her mom holding her son Zane and gushing about her immense support over the past few months. "I have depended on my mum a lot these last few months and especially weeks with us moving house," she wrote in the post. "Watching her be a Grandma to my son has been so beautiful.”
Burgess who is raising her son Zane with partner Brian Austin Green added, "The memories and moments and sometimes unsolicited advice ;) have all been exactly what I needed at the time. Mums just know things and I totally call that now." Burgess also shared a series of photographs of Zane with her grandparents on social media platforms talking about the challenges of motherhood and how she is mostly in sweats and without any makeup, reports People. The 37-year-old star wrote, "I genuinely live in sweats and no makeup so a selfie was necessary the one day I managed to make a small effort. Mom life is busy and at the same time I go nowhere. Between pumping, feeding, playtime, and everything in between, there are no hours left in the day."

In her recent post, she once again thanked her mother and concluded with, "And she is LOVING her Grandma duties and her now big family filled with all the kids and all the animals and all the love. Deep gratitude for my Mums strength, ability, and desire to move her whole life here to be with us. I love you Woo.” She adds she "wouldn't change a single thing" in her life, although she continues to learn how to "find time and balance." Burgess said, "Balance will come, but what I won't get back is all these moments with my son while he lets me smother him with love and affection. Watching him grow and learn is beautiful and like all Moms… I could swear my baby is the smartest and the cutest in all the land."
Zane's father Green is raising three other children with his ex-wife Megan Fox, and one with Vanessa Marcil. In his recent appearance on Good Morning America, he shared how much more he’s enjoying fatherhood with Zane’s arrival this year.
