Today, the nation mourns the death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant. And that's a reason good enough to drop everything and spend the evening ruing the loss of a star, a hero, and a legend.

While the Grammy Awards pays its own musical tribute to the Lakers star, many television shows also went off-air and aired reruns of previous episodes. Our very own favorite 'Shark Tank' is no exception.

The Season 11 of the business reality show completed 12 episodes (as of January 19, 2020), which means this week would have marked its 13th episode, according to the schedule.

However, the networks have been running earlier episodes, just in case fans missed them and were yet to catch up on the current season.

However, after 12 episodes, we see a break in the show's schedule as Episode 13 goes off the air. With the shocking news of Bryant's tragic death and more, these are all the reasons for our favorite show to take a week's break.

Meanwhile, Mark Cuban, one of the judges on the show and owner of Dallas Mavericks, issued a statement on his social media handle declaring that jersey number 24 will never be worn by any Maverick player. This was in honor of Kobe Bryant and to honor his contribution to American basketball.

Cuban is also a prominent investor, serial entrepreneur, and one of the most-loved "sharks" on 'Shark Tank'. Along with Cuban, Season 11 of 'Shark Tank' also sees Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavic, Kevin O’Leary, and Rohan Oza as other sharks, who judge every start-up invention and close or break a deal.

Eleven years and still counting, the reality show has seen some of the most unique innovations and business ideas, some of which have managed to thrive through the stringent competition and grown in leaps and bounds, thanks to the sharks and their support.

'Shark Tank' Season 11 will be back on air next Sunday at 9p m/8c only on ABC.
