Shania Twain stuns in two wildly different pink-themed looks while promoting upcoming album
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Shania Twain looked nothing short of sensational as she stepped out in two head-turning ensembles in New York City on Thursday, January 05. The 57-year-old country music icon is currently busy promoting her upcoming album ‘Queen of Me’, which is slated to release on February 3.
The 'Waking up Dreaming' hit-maker kickstarted her promotion spree with an emotional appearance on the Today Show. For her appearance, Twain opted for an eye-catchy look with a voluminous bubble-gum pink wig that stood out against her edgy black trench coat. She styled the coat over a chic black turtleneck and high-slit white midi skirt. Her sultry look was complimented by a pair of knee-length boots. The Hollywood star also showed off her ageless complexion with her bronzed makeup and peach glossy lips. She completed her look with a red patent leather purse and a gold pendant chain resting atop her cleavage.

The ‘You're Still the One' singer was welcomed by a crowd of enthusiastic fans and photographers as she exited her chauffeured black SUV. She treated them with a warm smile as she made her way to the studio to get mic’d up for her interview.
After the interview, Shania was spotted a second time in NYC, strolling on a sidewalk, in a ravishing pink co-ord ensemble. She was accompanied by her adored long-haired Chihuahua puppy. The preppy two-piece look included a cropped textured jacket with long sleeves and a trimmed back.
She opted for a capri-length pair of pants with a textured geometric pattern throughout to pair her body-hugging attire. Ditching her pink wig, Shania complimented her look with her freshly blown out honey-toned tresses. Shania walked on black platform heels towards a nearby car with her security guard in tow.

She opened up about the horrific childhood sexual abuse during her emotional TODAY show interview with host Hoda Kotb. Shania revealed she was sexually abused by her stepfather Jerry Twain in 2018. “It’s a way of really about saying, listen, I was abused when I was a kid, my father would fondle me up on the top and make me go without a shirt, and I was already maturing.”
Shania also spoke of wanting to "escape" her skin, but now she wants to flourish there. “I’m happy in my own skin. It’s the only skin I have, so I don’t have a choice,” she added. “It’s time to start loving myself in my own skin and really embracing that and not being embarrassed by it or shy of it.” She was "petrified" to pose naked, yet she found the photo shoot to be "empowering."
