Shane Warne's will revealed: Legendary cricketer divides vast $20.7M estate among his three children
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA: Shane Warne appears to have left most of his fortune to his three children while completely snubbing their mom and his ex-fiancé Liz Hurley. The Australian cricketer's will, dated December 3, 2021, reportedly states that Jackson, Brooke, and Summer Warne will receive 31 percent each of his $20.7 million estate.
The remaining seven percent has been distributed to his brother Jason, who received two percent, and two and a half percent each to his brother's children, Sebastian and Tyla. Neither Warne's ex-wife Simone Callahan, who he was married to for 15 years, nor his former fiancé Hurley are listed in the will.

Warne left his $375,500 vehicle collection to his son Jackson, including a BMW, Mercedes Benz, and a Yamaha motorbike. Australia's Supreme Court heard his assets were valued at a total of $20,711,013.27. His estate reportedly included $5 million in his Australian bank account and his $6.5 million seaside home in Portsea, Melbourne. The leg spinner also had $2 million in personal belongings which included a jetski, close to $3 million in shares, and half a million in another bank account. Meanwhile, he had about $295,000 in liabilities, including a credit card and household bills. The will was granted probate this week, meaning his three executors can now distribute the estate to the respective beneficiaries.
Warne died on March 4, 2022, in Thailand, aged 52. His death certificate, issued in Victoria, lists the cause of death as coronary artery atherosclerosis. The cricketing great was found by his pal Andrew Neophitou -- one of the executors of his will -- unresponsive in a villa in Koh Samui after he did not turn up for drinks at an agreed time and location. Neophitou reportedly performed CPR until an ambulance arrived at the scene and rushed Warne to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Following his death, tributes poured in from across the globe, and more than 50,000 supporters gathered at the MCG to mourn him at his state memorial in March. Warne was laid to rest at Sorrento Cemetery, south of Melbourne, on March 22, 2022.
Hall of Famer
Warne is often regarded as one of the greatest cricketers to grace the sport. During his international career from 1991 to 2007, he took 708 wickets and played 145 test matches as a right-arm leg-spin bowler. Meanwhile, he scored more than 3,000 test runs as a lower-order batsman.
Warne won six Ashes series and played an instrumental role in Australia's 1999 World Cup victory. He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2013. In the twilight of his career, he also served as a player, coach, and captain of the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. After retiring from international cricket, Warne played in Australia's Big Bash League and was a color commentator and broadcaster for Channel 9, the Daily Mail reported.
