Shakira throws shade at ex Gerard Pique by lip-syncing to SZA's revenge song 'Kill Bill'
BARCELONA, SPAIN: Shakira's much publicized split from former footballer Gerard Pique continues to make more headlines. The 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker was seen lip-syncing to a revenge song on Tiktok. In a video the Colombian posted on social media, she throws shade at her ex-partner Pique and the woman he left her for while lip-syncing the lyrics to SZA's song 'Kill Bill.'
The title of the song was influenced by the movie 'Kill Bill' by Quentin Tarantino, in which actress Uma Thurman plays The Bride, an assassin who wants to murder her ex-boyfriend Bill for revenge. Shakira, 46, was seen mopping her kitchen floor while mouthing the lyrics to the 2023 SZA song.

'I might kill my ex'
Shakira sang the lyrics, "I might kill my ex, not the best idea/ His new girlfriend's next, how'd I get here? / I might kill my ex, I still love him though/ Rather be in jail than alone." The 'Waka Waka' singer was wearing a black top and matching pants and sweeping her kitchen while singing the lyrics to the revenge song. She completed her look with black high heeled boots and a half-up, half-down hairstyle. The 46-year-old ended the short clip with a laugh.
Gerard Pique is dating 23-yr-old Clara Chia
This comes after former Spanish soccer star Pique, 36, became official on Instagram with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, 23. The two had apparently started dating when the athlete was still with Shakira, and can be seen cuddling in the photo. The two smiled mischievously at the camera, wearing matching all-black clothing.
The duo made their social media debut after Shakira appeared to diss Pique and Marti in their latest song, titled 'BZRP Music Session #53." The song has been viewed over 300 million times and broke the YouTube record for the most viewed Spanish song in 24 hours.
The former couple started dating in 2010 after meeting on the set of Shakira's 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)' music video. The couple released a joint statement in June, 2022, to announce their separation. The Grammy winner confessed that she felt she had to support Pique's dreams over her own. Shakira said at the time, "Once Milan started school, at the end of 2014, I knew that my constant travel and nomadic existence had to be put on the back burner and my career had to be put in second gear. I knew that when he started school, I had to settle down, plant roots in Barcelona, and be there for him and for Gerard and then later on for Sasha as well."
