Shakira and Gerard Pique's split seems to be acrimonious at best with a new controversy at every turn

PARIS, FRANCE: Following the release of ex-partner Shakira’s diss track, ‘Out Of Your League’, footballer Gerard Pique was spotted at the NBA game between Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons in Paris! While Pique was expected to maintain a low profile following the release of the scathing song, he seems to be doing quite fine as he continues to make public appearances. But what made everyone turn their eyes was how he was spotted with a Russian supermodel after the game. 

The FC Barcelona defender was spotted getting photographed with Victoria’s Secret model Irina Shayk, who interestingly, was in a long-time relationship with legendary football player Cristiano Ronaldo, many years ago. The co-creator of the King’s League was seen looking fresh and fine for his sporty day out and was seen with many celebrities throughout the night. However, it would seem that Pique was not in great spirits. Marca reported that the former Spanish national footballer seemed to be deep in thought as he kept a long face throughout the night.

The supermodel and the footballer looked good together as they posed for the shutterbugs. The footballer came to the game wearing a cream-colored hoodie with his signature trimmed beard while Shayk wore a slim-fit black top and wide-leg black jeans with minimal makeup for the night. The game was filled with many big names, including Formula One race car drivers Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly, TikToker Khaby Lame, singer Pharrell Williams, and former basketball player Magic Johnson.

This appearance for Pique comes soon after it was reported that the ‘Waka Waka’ singer had found out about her partner’s alleged cheating because she found a jar of jam in the house. She had apparently become suspicious when she found the jam in her house after returning from a trip because neither Pique nor her children liked jam.

It has also been revealed that the footballer is currently dating PR student Clara Chia Marti, 23, whom eagle-eyed fans had spotted in Pique and Shakira’s house in a Zoom interview from a long time ago, back when the pair were still together. It was also recently reported by The News that Pique had paid for Marti’s new cosmetic procedure for which he was heavily criticised.
