'Shadowhunters' season 3B preview: Trailer teases a wedding; could it finally be Malec?
'Shadowhunters' has done it again and by it we mean manage to leave fans shocked, surprised, and speechless with just a less-than-two-minute-long trailer for its upcoming and final season 3B on Freeform! There were so many takeaways and easter eggs sprinkled all over the newly-released video that it's hard to pick a favorite upcoming moment. Still, it's difficult to tame our curiosity, so here's the thing: Big spoiler alert, but there's a wedding in the final installment of the Freeform fantasy show, and it's quite possible that it is Alec Lightwood and Magnus Bane's!
For starters, Clary (Katherine McNamara) is very much alive and scarier than ever. There are also possibilities of the new pitch-black-eyed Clary joining forces with her half-brother and prime antagonist, Jonathan Morgenstein (Luke Baines.) And regardless of how many times Jace Herondale (Dominic Sherwood) keeps telling her that he will love her forever, the prospect of them ending up getting married looks slightly bleak. And that is solely because the wedding teased in the final trailer shows Clary walking out of the venue in a maroon gown and breaking down into tears. So no, she definitely isn't going to be the bride.
