'The nerve to publicly bully': Selena Gomez's fans slam Kylie Jenner for singer's decision to quit social media over 'eyebrow' comment drama

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner is being slammed online after Selena Gomez announced her decision to take a break from social media following an "eyebrow" comment. The 'Lose you to love me' singer posted a video on TikTok showing off her eyebrows with the caption, "I accidentally laminated my brows too much." 

However, things took a turn when Jenner posted an Instagram story with the words “this was a mistake?” written over her eyebrows. She then posted a snap of a FaceTime call with her best friend Hailey Beiber zooming on to their eyebrows. This led to a heated situation where Gomez's fans claimed that 'The Kardashians' star was shading the singer.

Did Selena Gomez respond to the feud? 

As soon as fans started quarreling, Jenner responded on Instagram stating, “This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn't see her eyebrow posts!" To which Gomez responded by saying, “Agreed Kylie Jenner. It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!" The incident took place soon after 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' singer surpassed Jenner to become the woman with the most followers on Instagram. 

'I'm too old for this'

As the social media war between the fans kept going, declaring her social media break, she said, “I'm very happy, I'm so blessed, I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world, and I just couldn't be happier. And I'm good. I love the way I am. I don't care, I'm big, I'm not—I don't care. I love who I am. And yeah, I'm gonna be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly. And I'm 30, I'm too old for this, so. But I love you guys so much! And I will see you guys sooner than later, I just... I'm just gonna just take a break from everything," as per ELLE.

The Internet quickly reacted to Gomez's decision.
