K-pop girl group Blackpink dropped their highly anticipated single 'Ice Cream' on August 28. The music video for the track featuring Selena Gomez trended worldwide immediately after its release and garnered over 45M views on YouTube in just the first 10 hours.

Now, according to fans of Gomez, there are Easter eggs within the music video through which Gomez is dropping hints about releasing her next studio album soon. Twitter users grabbed screenshots from the video and posted it on the platform claiming Gomez's fourth studio album is going to be releasing soon. A user tweeted, "Fans noticed that Selena Gomez might be teasing her third studio album SG3 in the music video for #IceCreamScoopTwo."

The screenshot shows Gomez dancing in front of colorful murals while the artwork in the background reads SG3 or Selena Gomez Three, which according to fans is the title of her next album. Another Selena fan pointed the cryptic SG3 out in a tweet saying, "WAIT HELP I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES 'SG3' UHM BYE."

Many were already excited at the prospect of an impending announcement. A fan tweeted, "SG3 gone be fire ik it."

Gomez, who released her album 'Rare' this January, hyped fans to no limit. Another user wrote, "I literally told y’all after rare that sg3 will come sooner then we think."

Some went further and speculated even more. For instance, another fan wrote, "SELENA JUST SAID THAT SHES STILL RECORDING NEW MUSIC IN HER IN-HOME STUDIO AHHHH SG3 IS COMING."

Some fans got emotional thinking about the wait for the album and tweeted, "Take a moment to remember when we used to crave SG2 and seemed like it will never arrive and now we are waiting for SG3. Wow."

Following the success of 'Ice Cream', which has amassed at least 150M views on YouTube since its release, Blackpink are all set to release their debut album. Gomez, on the other hand, tasted success yet again with her last album 'Rare' that debuted atop the Billboard 200 and featured artists like 6lack and Kid Cudi.

She now looks forward to releasing her fourth studio album, if fans are to be believed, and is also gearing up to star in the movie 'This Is the Year' where she's also taking on the executive producer's role. Whenever it releases, SG3, as it is tentatively titled, will be one of the most anticipated albums of the year.
