'Flop from the beginning': Selena Gomez fans call Hailey Bieber's new cooking show a 'rip-off'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber may have reconciled their past differences after publicly following each other on Instagram. But their fans appear not quite over their alleged bad blood. The 'Rhode' beauty owner has now been slammed online for apparently copying the 'Good For You' singer. Notably, this is not the first time Gomez's fans have caught the model imitating the singer. The allegations come after Bieber announced the launch of her new cooking show.
Bieber has long faced allegations of being "obsessed" with Gomez and the online hate seemingly increased this week. The 26-year-old model released the first official episode of her cooking show called 'What's in My Kitchen?' on YouTube on Thursday, April 13. Critics were quick to point out comparisons to Gomez's HBO Max cooking series 'Selena + Chef' which premiered in August 2020. While some netizens are calling the show a "rip-off," others drag Bieber for always wanting to be "left alone but copying Selena constantly."

Hailey really needs to stop copying Selena and she should focus on herself. Every individual has a different personality and we cannot be that person even if we do the same things as the other person.

Spinoff of 'Who's in My Bathroom?' series
Speaking on why she launched the new cooking show, Bieber spoke to The Hollywood Reporter. "I've loved cooking and sharing meals with friends on my social channels for years, and I can't wait to bring this experience to the fans of our network with OBB and HexClad," Bieber said in a statement, adding that the show is a spinoff from her 'Who's in My Bathroom?' series. "Creating new formats and IP for my channel has been really empowering, as my team and I get to truly create everything from concept to screen, and I can't wait for everybody to see what's next," she added.
