After the previous episode of 'Seal Team' was primarily a display of brotherly bonds and affection, the next episode titled 'Objects In Mirror' was packed with emotions, action sequences and new dilemmas. The Bravo Team are back in action and have to travel overseas on the pretext of a foreign training mission when they are actually trying to rescue a high-security target.

The two teams are at loggerheads. The Bravo team has to endure some snarky comments from their counterparts and struggle to maintain their politeness. Sunny steps up and proves that their team is worth their salt and aces a shooting contest.

In the middle of all this rough bravado, the Bravo team wonders how they will get out of the place as they need to get their hands on their target. They're closely supervised and monitored at all times. It takes the meticulous brilliance and intelligence of Eric Blackburne (Judd Lormand), Mandy Ellis (Jessica Paré) and Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) to execute a perfect fool-proof plan. After slyly manipulating the guys to take them to a club, Jason finds a way to escape and get their target and head back to the club as soon as possible.

The mission seems a little too easy, though it had its moments of worry and tension. But clearly the action was not intended to be the focal point of the episode. In the midst of all the heated action and tough-guy talk, there were romantic dilemmas to be addressed and the awkwardness of confronting painful feelings and emotions. Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot) is torn between Stella Baxter and Rebecca Bowen and Ray Perry attempts to reach out to Vic Lopez. Some wounds have not healed.

Over the course of the season, Jason's rough-and-tough guy attitude has been falling away to reveal a rather wounded and scared man and at the end of the episode, Jason finally does the unthinkable - he opens up to his girlfriend Natalie Pierce, about his estranged wife Alana Hayes (Michaela McManus), who was his childhood sweetheart. She had a car accident and died during surgery. This is a big moment of Jason, who is showing different sides to his personality with each episode.

'Seal Team' airs on CBS, Wednesdays at 9 pm.
