Known for his infamous Taylor Swift controversy, Hollywood's top manager Scooter Braun shocked his fans as news of his separation from his wife of seven years, Yael Cohen, became public. Incidentally enough, reports of the split follow rumors that Braun hooked up with 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Erika Jayne.

Braun and Cohen are believed to be taking a break from their marriage with hopes of reconciliation and their relationship working out in the future. The two tied the knot in 2014 and have since shared three children together. And even though they are hoping to "bounce back" from the separation, the timing of the split has piqued the curiosity of many, as not long ago Jayne was asked about the rumors of her and Braun having an affair.

For those wondering if the affair actually happened, Jayne herself addressed the topic on the July 9 episode of the hit Bravo TV show she appears on. Dismissing claims that she "was seeing my old Dancing with the Stars partner [Gleb Savchenko], and then I was seeing Scooter Braun," Jayne revealed: "I haven't seen either one of them in four-and-a-half, five years."

This comes after Jayne's shocking divorce announcement from her husband of 21 years, Tom Giardi, 82, who has since been hit with a slate of lawsuits for fraud, embezzlement, and contract breach.

But the chatter around a possible affair between Braun and Jayne began after news of his separation from Cohen became public. Radar Online reported on July 11 of sources having confirmed the involvement of a "third party" in their marital problems. The outlet also claimed that Braun's July 6 seventh-anniversary post was extra "sappy" to hide split from his wife.

"[...] thanks to you I have grown, I have been pushed to be the best version of myself and to continue growing and learning. That all happened because you came in to my life. 7 years. The adventure is just beginning. Thank you Yae. I love you. Happy anniversary," wrote Braun, and Cohen even commented with: "A Team 4lyfe."

Although Page Six first reported the news of their split, TMZ soon confirmed that the couple were hoping the split doesn't become permanent and working on their marriage. Braun, who has managed Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande in addition to his former client Swift, also reportedly had 'dark thoughts' and checked into a psychiatry facility months before announcing the separation.

But despite rumors of him having an affair with the reality TV star, both he and Cohen are hopeful of their "friendship" helping them course through these marital woes. "Their friendship is the best it's ever been but they're taking some time apart to sort things out and focus on the kids," a source told People, adding: "So many couples went through this during the pandemic. They love each other and just need some time apart and will hopefully bounce back for their kids," a second insider claims.
