'The devil came over me': Savannah Chrisley thrown off Southwest flight for being an 'unruly passenger'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Savannah Chrisley has claimed that she was removed from a Southwest Airlines flight as she was a "unruly passenger." Chrisley, 25, detailed the awful experience she had while attempting to board a flight at John F Kennedy Airport on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, April 21.
Chrisley, who previously opened up about her depression difficulties, was traveling back to Tennessee when an airline employee allegedly threw her off the flight for not having her carry-on luggage checked-in, according to DailyMail. Chrisley was chosen as 10-year-old Chloe's guardian after her parents, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley, were jailed for tax fraud in November 2022. She also serves as 16-year-old Grayson's legal guardian. This made her experience with the flight attendant a little stressful because she was more anxious about getting to Tennessee to be with Chloe.

'I officially know why everyone hates Southwest'
Chrisley said, "Alright guys, so I officially know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean absolutely hates it — the worst thing in the entire world." She then gestured to a flight agent and stated, "This man right here... um, awful. I went to board my flight and he told me that I had to check my bag."
Chrisley added, "I was like, 'Okay, if you wouldn't mind, I'm gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can't make it fit and if not, I'll check it.'" When the flight attendant informed her it wasn't an option and she would need to check the bag, she again insisted she would see if there was room for her suitcase on the plane first.
At that point, the attendant allegedly referred to Chrisley as "an unruly passenger." Chrisley claimed that the pilot even intervened at one point to support her, telling the attendant to "calm down" and that he would find a place for the bag. However, that didn't settle the issue.
'I hope he finds a better purpose for his life'
Chrisley said, "The Southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot — the man who was flying our plane and is responsible for our safety — and said stay out of it. Now, I'm not gonna lie, when this Southwest attendant told the pilot to calm down I told him that there was no need for him to be an a****e today and then he threw me off the flight."
"I had a 10-year-old that I had to absolutely get home to tonight and well, the Southwest attendant said 'I don't care,'" Chrisley said in reference to Chloe. "I told him that I hope he finds a better purpose for his life. Maybe I shouldn't have said it, but the devil came over me and Jesus did not come out."
Chrisley kept her followers updated on the issue and she said, "Southwest you're awful, but to the pilot who stood up for me and was a real good looking guy — my hat goes off to you. You're great. Maybe switch airlines." In the end, she was able to make it to Baltimore for her connecting flight, and she smiled as she flaunted the fact that she had the whole row to herself.
Southwest Airlines is yet to comment on the incident.
