'Calm the child down': Southwest Airlines flyer throws mid-air tantrum over crying child and screams at parents
ORLANDO, FLORIDA: A passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight bound for Orlando, Florida a grown-up man was captured on video throwing a tantrum and swearing at the parents of a crying child. The incident, which occurred during a holding pattern due to bad weather around the Palm Beach area, left other passengers in hysterics.
In the video which was uploaded on TikTok, the man can be heard complaining about the baby crying nonstop for "45 minutes", ruining his plans for a comfortable flight. The video has since gone viral with over 1,84,700 views.

'There is a child crying on the airplane, non f******g stop'
The man was eventually seen on the same video being escorted away by police, and it is unknown if the flight landed in Orlando to boot the unruly passenger off. The identity of the man hasn't been revealed.
During his denigrate diatribe intended at the parents of the screeching child and flight crew, the unruly passenger said, "There is a child crying on the airplane, non f******gstop..."Calm the child down, please. I'm not screaming. Do you want me to scream? I'll f*****g scream." He at one point said, "We are in a f****** tin can with a baby in a goddamn echo chamber and you wanna talk to me about being f*****g ok?"
'Can you lower THAT voice?'
"Did that m**********r pay extra to yell? the yelling passenger shouted in response to the air steward's attempt to argue that it is different because he is in reality an adult. F**k you and shut up He shouted back, "Can you lower THAT voice?" in reference to the child's howling when the staff member urged him to do so.
'F***, lower down that kid's voice'
The irate passenger was heard shouting, "I don't give a f***," as the woman seated next to him rapidly attempted to calm him down. "f***, lower down that kid's voice." I've been set off, f**k that baby. The airline's employees attempted to negotiate with the yelling passenger on several occasions but to no avail. He claimed in the video that despite wearing headphones while sleeping, the kid still woke him up. The young child's cries could be heard in the background throughout the entire clip.
'Have we tried swaddling this man?'
Social media users had mixed reactions to the incident. One joked, "Have we tried swaddling this man? He needs some soothing techniques." Another wrote in the comment, "I just know the mom is traumatized to fly again." One tried to reason, "40 mins of crying is exhausting." One more wrote, "I get his frustration butttt ummm it’s a child 😳. Hell, he made it worse 🤦🏽♀️. When he said did the baby pay extra I hollered 😂."
