'Nothing fancy': Matthew McConaughey's wife Camila shares rare photo from son Livingston's 10th birthday
AUSTIN, TEXAS: Matthew McConaughey's youngest son, Livingston, just turned 10. His mother, Camila Alves, posted a picture of him blowing out candles while wearing a birthday crown on Instagram on Sunday, January 15, to mark the occasion.
"Nothing fancy...just us," Camila wrote in the caption, stating how simple her youngest son's birthday celebrations were. "December 28th it was Livingston's birthday!!!" The model and mother of three revealed how her son celebrated his special day in December 2022, just after Christmas. "All he wanted to do is go to Altitude the trampoline place in Austin and an ice cream cake!"

The model and her Oscar-winning husband also share son Levi, 14, and daughter Vida, 13. In 2020, McConaughey told PEOPLE that "being a dad was always my dream" and that he and his wife "have a love that we never question." However, he wasn't sure he would ever find the "unconditional love" they now share before meeting in 2006. Before meeting his wife, the 'Interstellar' actor believed that his window of opportunity to meet his true love and begin a family was closing. "I mean, the clock was ticking — I was about to be 40 and my plan was to be married and have kids by that age," he reportedly said, adding, "But I didn't want to play the game of starting to feel anxious because, with too much anxiety, you can't find a mate. And then you make a hasty decision."
The couple met at a nightclub in 2006. "Since that evening I have not wanted to spend time with any other woman, definitely have not wanted to sleep with anyone else. I’ve not wanted to have children with anyone else other than her. We have a love that we never question," ," he said of his enduring bond with his wife. The pair has never been apart since, whether they are caring for their three children, celebrating professional achievements or helping communities in need across the nation.
