LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumer Willis stepped into 2023 on a positive note as she reached a very important milestone in her life. The actress, 28, shared a New Year's Eve post on her Instagram celebrating her pregnancy as well as six years of sobriety on Sunday, December 31.
The daughter of Bruce Willis, 67, and Demi Moore, 60, announced the news with a reflective caption. "Sending love to Baby Rue today…. Celebrating 6 years Sober Woohoo," she penned a message to her younger self in the caption alongside an adorable snap of herself smiling from when she was a little girl. In the announcement, she also opened up about her pregnancy: "Also still cant believe I am currently cooking a little person in my belly right now. I am so deeply grateful for the incredible lessons and gifts that have come my way this year. I’m so grateful this little soul chose me to have the privilege of being their mama," she concluded the note while adding a seedling emoji.

On December 20, Rumer and her boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas revealed on Instagram that they are expecting their first child together in 2023. The photo showed her boyfriend embracing her growing belly while giving the baby bump a sweet kiss. The eldest daughter of the Hollywood icons had a beaming smile on her face as she held up the camera to capture the image.
Willis revealed that she is “grateful” for 2022 for the things it has brought in. She ended the post by expressing her love for her partner and her soon-to-be-born child. "So grateful for all this year has brought me," she began, adding, "My love @derekrichardthomas And this new soul who has chosen me. I can't wait to meet you little one. I love you so much already."
The ‘Flawless’ actress also shared the pregnancy news on her Instagram account by posting the baby bump photos of her daughter with the caption, "Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era." She posted another picture with her daughters and Rumer during her check-ups with the doctor. Moore captioned the post, saying, "Saying hello to the little nibblet!! Overjoyed for you, my sweet Rumer. It’s an honor to witness your journey into motherhood, and can’t wait to welcome this baby into the world!"
Along with Rumer, Bruce Willis shares daughters Tallulah, 28, and Scout, 31 with Demi Moore. The ‘Die Hard’ actor is also father to his daughters Evelyn, eight, and Mabel, 10, with his second and current wife Emma Heming Willis.
