Rumer Willis reveals plans to have 'unmedicated' birth for first baby amid dad Bruce Willis' health battle
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumer Willis, 34, is set to give birth to her first child and has already made the decision not to use any medication during the crucial time. The daughter of Bruce Willis, who regrettably received a dementia diagnosis last year, posted a new video on Instagram.
The 34-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday to spread the word about the Perimom Perineal Massager while she is pregnant with her first child with partner Derek Richard Thomas. She demonstrated the massager and discussed how it has been beneficial to her while donning a white robe and wearing her hair pulled back.

The most recent baby news comes about two months after Bruce's family disclosed that he has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) - which was identified less than a year after he had stopped performing due to his struggle with aphasia. On the other hand, Rumed captioned her Instagram post writing, “Rumer Has It: Mama Rue Favorite @perimom.perineal.massager.” She added, “GUYS This is a game changer. This is not a ad just straight up the most magical tool. I feel so much more prepared for my non medicated birth because of this thing. If you have an questions DM me. Further, Demi Moore, Rumer's mother and Bruce's ex-wife, posted a video of the memorable day, in which his closest friends and family sang him "Happy Birthday" while he grinned widely. “Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them,” Demi wrote in the caption.
Silver linings during difficult times
After his family's March 2022 announcement that he had aphasia, Bruce was recently identified as having frontotemporal dementia. His family has been making announcements to the public about the issue, and the recent one being, his diagnosis has forced him to retire from acting. The Willis family has also publicly praised their supporters.
Rumer gained attention recently for hosting a baby shower in addition to supporting her father during his difficult period. The stunning woman, who is having a child with her partner Thomas, joined her mother, stepmother Emma Hemming Willis, and her sisters Scout Willis, Tallulah Willis, Mabel, and Evelyn for the celebration. They all smiled for photographs together as they celebrated.
