LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bruce Willis proved he is the ideal family man as he posed with all of his five daughters, as well as his ex-wife Demi Moore and current wife Emma Heming, at his 68th birthday celebration. The ‘Die Hard’ actor, who was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year, celebrated his special day on Sunday, March 19 with his perfectly blended family at his side.
Willis’ ex-wife, Demi Moore, gave fans a look into his birthday celebration as she shared a slew of posts on her Instagram that featured a delightful collection of images and videos. One cheerful picture captured Willis, his wife Emma Heming Willis, Moore, and all five of his daughters posing outdoors in front of a lush backdrop on a gray day in Los Angeles. Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29 — his daughters with Demi — were present as well as Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, eight, whom he shares with Emma.

'Love and warm wishes'
The family members were all dressed casually as Bruce bundled in a quilted navy blue jacket which he layered with a button-up shirt. He also sported medium-wash blue jeans and accessorized his look with navy and white sneakers. “More from Bruce’s birthday, yesterday,” Moore wrote under her Instagram post that featured nine photos of the actor. This post came after the ‘G.I. Jane’ star shared a joyful video of their family singing happy birthday to Bruce before presenting him with a candlelit apple pie, according to Daily Mail.
In the clip, Emma Heming — who shared a heartfelt birthday post earlier in the day — was seen presenting Bruce with the confection as well as an affectionate kiss on the cheek. "Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today," Demi wrote in the caption of the video that saw Bruce speaking for the first time since his dementia diagnosis. "Love you and love our family," she continued. "Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes - we all feel them."
'He is pure love'
Later that evening, Emma, who exchanged vows with Willis in March 2009, shared a close-up snap of a delicious-looking apple pie. "I tried to get a pumpkin pie," the model wrote over the photo, noting that pumpkin is his favorite. "That was a no-go. Apple pie is his second favorite." "He is pure love. He is so loved. And I’ll be loving him always. Happy Birthday my sweet," she captioned the post.
The 'Perfect Stranger' actress also posted an emotional message addressing Bruce's devastating dementia diagnosis and calling watching his videos "a knife in her heart." "I always get this message or people always tell me like, "Oh you're so strong, I don't know how you do it." I'm not given a choice. I wish I was. But I'm also raising two kids in this," she said in the video. "So sometimes in our lives, we have to put our big girl panties on and get to it. And that's what I'm doing. But I do have times of sadness every day. Grief every day. And I'm feeling it today on his birthday."
