Ruel is coming back with some new music! Ruel Vincent van Dijk, better known by his stage name Ruel, is teasing the arrival of brand new music soon. The English born Australian singer and songwriter from Sydney, who has delivered a number of hit singles like 'Don't Tell Me', 'Younger' and 'Painkiller', captioned the post a cryptic 'alayc' prompting fans to guess what that could mean. Taking to his Instagram page, the 17-year-old posted a short advert type video for something called Red Eyes Soda saying, 'it's action in a can' and sending fans into a tizzy.

Making wild guesses about what Red Eyes Soda and alayc could mean, a fan tweeted, 'what if ALAYC is the name of the ep or album and red eyes soda is a song.'

Some fans, trying to make out what the term alayc could mean, took to Twitter to share their theories. One user wrote, 'Ok ok I have a theory so what if this is like the dates for his ep?? And this all like a little joke? fuck idk I’m CONFUSED WTF IS ALAYC,' while another said, 'The eyes in the logo are RVD pictures which usually comes at the end of a music video, and ALAYC supposedly means ‘As Long As You Can’ (title name of the song?) This could mean a new music video on 9th/10th September.'

Another fan of Rule guessed the release date for the next EP to be 9 September 2020. Surmising this theory, the fan wrote, 'ruel just posted a scary ass video and tagged an account HE FOLLOWS called ALAYC ALAYC STANDS FOR "AS LONG AS YOU CAN" IS THAT THE NEW EP BECAUSE IT SAYS SEPTEMBER 9TH IN THE BIO AND HE SAID HE MIGHT RELEASE IT ON SEPTEMBER 9TH.'

Some even had theories about the name of Ruel's upcoming release. One fan tweeted, 'what if ALAYC is the name of the ep or album and red eyes soda is a song.'

While Twitter users kept discussing and speculating about what alayc could be, many excited fans expressed their happiness in other ways. One fan simply wrote, 'nice to see ya again ruel.'

Surprised by the sudden tease, admirers of Ruel stormed Twitter to express their enthusiasm. A Ruel fan excitedly tweeted, 'NEW RUEL MUSIC NEW RUEL MUSIC NEW RUEL MUSIC (time for me to cry once again n make a thread about it) NEW RUEL MUSIC!'

Others were simply confused as can be seen from the Tweet of this Ruel fan who wrote, 'lol whole twitter is like – WTF IS THAT WHATS ALAYC WHATS RED CAN THING TFTF WAS HAPPENING.'

There was recently a #RuellsOverParty on Twitter where fans, angry about delay in new music from the singer, vented their frustrations about waiting too long for fresh Ruel songs. Well, going by the recent tease, it seems Ruel will be back very soon with new music.
