‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Spoilers: Will Joey Jay be eliminated in Episode 5? Here are clues that point to her exit
'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 13 has finally begun eliminating drag queens and the first one to leave was Kahmora Hall. The first few episodes focused on getting the contestants to understand that there was going to be a clear divide based on each of their lip-syncing skills.
Although host and mentor RuPaul Charles didn't say it out loud, the queens took it upon themselves to create teams A and B. Obviously, Group B comprises of those who got Pork Chop and were shown to the loading dock, which meant they had to wait for their turn before they could strut on the runway wearing their best, most unique creations.
From what we have read so far, Joey Jay seems to be next on the list. A Golderby report suggests that the queen will be eliminated in Episode 5, following a lost lip-sync battle against Kandy Muse. It further read that they'd be dancing to Iggy Azalea's chartbuster number titled 'Fancy'.
It's unfortunate to see her dreams of being America's Next Drag Superstar crushed this early on in the competition, but someone has to go. Interestingly, this isn't the first time the two have fought it out in a challenge. During the premiere episode, Kandy won against Joey, which left him on the waitlist.
'Lipstick Lesbian' Joey is from Phoenix. She is 30 years old and the only second contestant in the history of the show to represent Arizona. In all of the years of doing drag, she has achieved greatness by being the only person to be on 'Tempest DuJour' Season 7, Screenrant reported.
Apart from her breezy personality, what sets Joey apart from the rest is her tendency to rock her "boy hair". However, that is not a mandate for her. We have Joey in wigs just that she likes to keep it simple with her natural hair.
Here's hoping she takes her stint on the show as a learning experience and uses it to reach newer heights in the drag community.
