Royal expert says Queen 'fading away before our very eyes' as SHOCKING photo released
New images of Queen Elizabeth II have raised concerns about her well-being, with a royal expert saying the adored monarch is "fading away before our very eyes." Images of the Queen welcoming New South Wales Governor Margaret Beazley in the UK last week were "nothing short of alarming," according to royal expert Daniela Elser.
"The difference is truly startling," wrote Elser in an opinion piece for the Australian publication News.com.au on Friday, June 24. The pictures show the 96-year-old queen shaking hands with the Australian politician inside Windsor Castle while smiling and donning a vibrant yellow dress.

Queen makes RIDING COMEBACK just nine months after she was told to quit because of mobility issues
When contrasted to photos of the Queen wearing a similar gown taken in June 2021 when she met former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Elser argues the difference is startling. The royal expert wrote, "In the intervening 12 months, Her Majesty would appear to have become markedly more stooped, much thinner and overall appears to have shrunk."
Elser asserted that the Queen has had to "bow out of previously non-negotiable events nearly every month" since last October and conjectured that the entire depth of her health concerns is being kept a secret. The expert said, "Aides are in a tricky spot. They can hardly come out and offer the press a running commentary on whatever might be ailing [the queen.]"
Elser asserted that the royal family must be somewhat open, otherwise, they run the risk of coming across as "squirrelly and secretive," especially now that the family's reputation has been damaged by Prince Andrew's recent crisis.
The Queen's health has indeed been in the news since she was sighted using a walking stick for the first time in 17 years in October of last year. At the time, an insider said that the crutch was provided for her "comfort." Later that month, she was taken to the hospital, forcing her to postpone her journey to Ireland until after she had resumed her royal duties.
The Queen, however, would "reluctantly" skip a royal engagement because of "mobility problems," according to a Buckingham Palace statement from May and that the choice was reached after "consultation with her doctors."
The Queen missed Royal Ascot last week for the first time since being crowned seven decades ago. Due to "discomfort" from the extensive Platinum Jubilee celebrations honouring her record 70 years of service, she also cancelled engagements earlier this month. She was present in the Trooping the Colour procession but was absent at the National Service of Thanksgiving and only made an appearance as a hologram at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
In a statement given during the Jubilee, she said, "While I may not have attended every event in person, my heart has been with you all; and I remain committed to serving you to the best of my ability, supported by my family. I have been inspired by the kindness, joy and kinship that has been so evident in recent days, and I hope this renewed sense of togetherness will be felt for many years to come."
