'Roswell, New Mexico' Season 2 Episode 1: Isobel could be pregnant with Noah's baby but fans can't accept it
Spoilers for 'Roswell, New Mexico' Season 2 Episode 1 'Stay (I Missed You)'
In Season 1 we saw Liz Ortecho (Jeanine Mason) realize that an alien was responsible for the death of her sister Rosa Ortecho (Amber Midthunder) a decade ago. Liz had learned that Max Evans (Nathan Parsons) was with her sister the night she passed and after suspecting Max for her death, she realizes that Isobel Evans (Lily Cowles) killed Rosa. Apparently, Isobel's husband, Noah Bracken (Karan Oberoi) was an alien and by occupying Isobel's mind, hence killing Rosa. Now, fans are lauding her for her bravery as she eulogizes her late husband along with finding out she may be pregnant.
During the premiere of Season 2, titled 'Stay (I Missed You)' we see Isobel in all her 'Adams Family' attire focus on saving her brother Max as she processes having to deal with the fact her husband had taken up shack in her mind. While we hope that Isobel's narrative pushes forward from domestic violence, fans applauded her speech at Noah's funeral."Isobel talking about Max at Noah’s funeral is the biggest F-U and I LOVE IT!!! Even in death get f***** Noah! #RoswellNM," tweeted a fan.
"Haha. Isabelle lowkey getting emotional because she's actually giving Max's eulogy at Noah's funeral. #RoswellNM," tweeted another fan.
Fans also appreciated actress Lily Cowles for the incredible scene with one tweeting, "Lily Cowles talking about Max during the funeral was just heartbreaking. You could feel all the emotions. Just wow #RoswellNM@LilyCowles."
When Noah won't stop haunting her thought, Isobel performs an ultrasound on her stomach and is startled by what she discovers. While the pregnancy wasn't validated, what else could that be? Some fans used Season one's knowledge to speculate about the upcoming narrative of this storyline, "When Noah told Isobel to “take care of her” on the season 1 finale, I thought he meant Rosa but now we found out Izzy is pregnant. Did Noah know? #RoswellNM #RoswellNewMexico," tweeted a fan.
Not to mention, not all fans were thrilled with the fact that Isobel could be carrying her abuser's baby, with one fan tweeting, "Also with Isobel just about being pregnant I AM ABSOLUTELY F****** LIVID RIGHT NOW SHE DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER THAN THAT! A BABY FROM A MAN WHO MANIPULATED HER FOR F****** YEARS INCLUDING WHEN SHE DIDNT KNOW HIM AT ALL #RoswellNM."
"Your letting her be pregnant? WITH HIS BABY?! #RoswellNM," tweeted another upset fan.
