Who is Rose Hanbury? UK media allegedly buried 'evidence' of Prince William's affair
Twitterverse is a place where rumors have a surprising shelf life, long after the general public and the people involved are done hashing them out. Recently, rumors about Prince William and his rumored lover Rose Hanbury were seen circulating on the platform again. On December 28, Daily Mail Diary Editor and @Mailplus broadcaster Richard Eden expressed his concern over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s accusations of facing racism during their time in the UK on Oprah Winfrey interview.
Eden tweeted: “I genuinely worry that Prince Harry and #Meghan's criticism of unnamed 'racist' royals has increased the danger of attacks on the #Royal Family. Security needs to be stepped up as a result.” Independent journalist Alex Tiffin responded to the tweet and claimed that it was shared only to “divert attention from” Prince William’s rumored controversies and attacking the Sussexes did just that.

Also, I'd rather the media just named Prince William as the person in question, instead of pussy footing about it, like they did his affair with the Rose lassie. https://t.co/YLogkS2f1r
In a series of tweets, Tiffin said: “Deputy Editor of race baiting newspaper trying to divert attention from the huge L in court. Also, I'd rather the media just named Prince William as the person in question, instead of pussy footing about it, like they did his affair with the Rose lassie. PS. Injunctions from the High Court in London are worthless in Scotland, my residence and no amount of legal pressure is going to erase the fact Prince William had an affair with Rose Hanbury. Enjoy your evening.”

Enjoy your evening.
Multiple UK news outlets have had evidence of the affair and his other comments, some even spoke of them on this site before legal threats saw them delete.

A Royal shouldn't be afforded extra protection from scrutiny than any other public figure.
Journalists report, not handle

Who is Rose Hanbury?
Hanbury is the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. She has been married to David Rocksavage, the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley since 2009. The pair have three kids together including twin boys. Hanbury, a former fashion model, first made headlines in 2019 when it was reported that she was having an affair with the Duke of Cambridge. Rumors were that the father of three had cheated on Kate when she was pregnant with their third child Prince Louis. And when The Sun published a now-deleted article detailing the alleged affair, William immediately took legal action against the publication.
Right after that, the Daily Mail's Richard Kay supported the royals by writing a piece that deemed The Sun’s story false. At the time, Kay added: “I can also reveal both sides have considered legal action but, because none of the reports have been able to offer any evidence about what the so-called dispute is about, they have chosen to ignore it.” However, now since the rumor has resurfaced again, people have slammed British media. Many people also went on to claim that the Palace covered up their future king’s alleged extramarital affair but failed to protect the Sussexes. The accusation is based on Meghan’s remark made during the Winfrey interview earlier this year. She had said at the time, “They were willing to lie to protect other members of the family. They weren’t willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband.”
A user angrily tweeted, “The UK media gags itself with their backroom deals. Could you imagine them honouring an injunction to not report on Meghan having an affair if she had one? They would go ahead as they did with the publication of her letter.” Another one commented, “Some might. There is a clear anti-Meghan bias in some of the UK press and it's disgusting as is any such bias. Don't forget who owns the big media & news publishers, they control much of what's ‘news’ and spike what they don't like…”

A person wrote, “It seems that the perfect family is far from perfect...takes after his Dad and Grandad it seems. #princewilliamaffair.” The second one asked, “Is it right that the Royals can use injunctions to suppress the freedom of the press? #princewilliamaffair.” “Racists across the UK absolutely gutted about #PrinceWilliam , but unite to agree that an adulterer and low-life on the throne, is better than a black person sitting alongside it. #princewilliamaffair #BringBackHarry,” the third one added.
