'I just had a baby': Robert De Niro, 79, reveals he recently welcomed seventh child
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Robert De Niro announced he has recently welcomed a new baby. The 79-year-old Oscar-winning actor made the revelation during a chat for his upcoming movie, 'About My Father'.
De Niro, who believes "being loving with kids" is his love language, revealed to ET Canada's Brittnee Blair, "I just had a Baby." When the host remarked, "I know you have six kids," De Niro corrected her, saying, "Seven actually."

Who is the baby's mother?
The publication reached out to De Niro's representatives, who confirmed that the 'Raging Bull' star is now a father of seven. It remains unclear who the mother is and De Niro didn't share the baby's name or gender either. However, he revealed that he was not a "cool dad."
The 'Taxi Driver' star has been married twice. He shares two children, Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, with his first wife Diahnne Abbott. He also shares Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11 with his ex-wife Grace Hightower. Furthermore, he is also a father of twin sons Aaron and Julian, 27, with former girlfriend, Toukie Smith.
'She gives me grief sometimes'
Elaborating on his statement about not being a cool dad, the legend noted how his children disagree with him at times while still being respectful. "I'm okay," he said about being a father. "You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful. My daughter, she’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But, that’s what it is."
De Niro was seen with GF Tiffany Chen in March
The veteran thespian last appeared alongside Tiffany Chen, a martial arts instructor, in March. Tiffany was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California with DeNiro on March 22 while sporting a baby bump. They had just had an Italian meal with Billy Crystal and Harvey Keitel.
Despite his preference for his love language, De Niro believes one has “to be stern about stuff” occasionally. He said, "There’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice,” he explained. “And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”
