Riley Keough seeing 'new side' of grandma Priscilla Presley amid feud over late mom Lisa Marie Presley's will
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley are at the center of an inheritance dispute as the latter contests the will of her deceased daughter Lisa Marie Presley. With many rumors making the rounds, a longtime friend of Lisa Marie has spoken out about the changing dynamic between the grandmother and granddaughter, who are now reportedly not getting along at all. "Riley and Priscilla are not talking. Their relationship is changing, that is true ... it's just so sad. This is the time Riley would really need her grandmother," a source has revealed.
The pal had also gone on to state that Keough was “seeing a new side of her grandmother,” and that the actress would really not want to go to war with her grandmother. “Riley’s not looking for a war. She always had a good relationship with her grandmother,” the Graceland source said. “Lisa had her issues with her mother, but … she didn’t drag [her kids] into [their] personal issues,” reports Page Six. News of Keough and Presley’s broken relationship comes amidst the release of Amazon Prime’s ‘Daisy Jones and The Six,’ in which Keough is the lead star.

Riley Keough copes with loss while promoting new film
The film, starring Riley Keough and Sam Claflin, has already created a lot of buzz in the media, and on any other day Keough would be knee-deep in promotional events leading up to its release. However, her mother's sudden death and subsequent inheritance dispute seem to have kept her away from the cameras, as she canceled her scheduled appearance at the UK premiere on February 16.
Since then, all of her media engagements to promote the show have been carefully selected and vetted - she has even gone so far as to let everyone know that she is not willing to answer questions about her mother or grandmother.
What does Lisa Marie Presley's will state?
Prior to her death, Lisa Marie Presley had executed an amendment to her trust and estate, barring her mother and including her daughter Keough and her son Benjamin, now deceased, as controllers. The amendment entitled Keough to the Memphis mansion and 15 per cent of the estate of legendary singer Elvis Presley, and also gave her control of the estate.
Priscilla Presley has now filed a petition at LA challenging the "authenticity and validity" of Lisa Marie's signatures on these amendments and seeking to have them verified. Both Keough and Presley are now reportedly preparing for trial and have spoken only through their lawyers during this tumultuous time.
