Rihanna has kept her ardent fans on toes since last two years over the launch of her new album, but it looks like their prayers might finally get answered as the speculations about RiRi’s new project has only gone stronger due to a most recent update with the Twitter hashtag of the singer’s name.

The updated hashtag “#Rihanna” now comes with an emoji and fans are taking it as a hint that a new project might hit the Internet sooner than later. The new emoticon comes with the face of a girl looking all blank. A lot of users on Twitter started guessing and erupted with joy as well. One user shared a short funny video and stated, “Does this emoji mean Rihanna is getting ready to drop new music? #Rihanna” Another fan of the Barbadian singer tweeted, “They gave us #Rihanna emoji. Naaa i was laughing til i realized. Why tho? What U droppin girl?”

One commented, “i really hope the emoji is for fenty music and not fenty products omfg #Rihanna.” Another said, “I’m not about to get excited about this emoji #RIHANNA she’s probably just releasing a new line of bedsheets.” One tweet read, “The Rihanna hashtag has its own emoji now?? New music soon perhaps? Let’s hope so! #Rihanna.” Sharing the same feeling, one asked, “Rihanna I’ve been thinking about this emoji for two hours. What does it mean? Are we being blessed with something??????”

The 32-year-old Grammy winner was most recently spotted at a filming location at NoMad Hotel in Los Angeles, as published by the Daily Mail. The ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker looked drop-dead gorgeous in a brown fur coat teamed up with a Fendi handbag. She was also papped at the same spot previously after shooting for 11 hours of what can be a music video for her ninth album.

Rihanna, whose last album ‘ANTI’ came in 2016, revealed back in February that she was back in the recording studio, making music with Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, who make up the producing duo The Neptunes. She later told Entertainment Tonight in July, “I am always working on music. I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out” adding, “And you’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it. I’m not just gonna put it out just because people are waiting. It’s taken this long, I’m gonna make it worth it.”

Rihanna’s last song titled was released in March 2020 in collaboration with Canadian rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR. The track called ‘Believe It’ also featured guest verses from Drake and Bad Bunny.
