Rico Nasty ‘Nightmare Vacation’: Release date, concept, tracklist and all you need to know about rapper’s full-length debut project
Rapper and songwriter Rico Nasty has already made her name in the hip-hop underground scene with her five solo mixtapes which she started releasing in 2014 until 2019. She shot to prominence with her hit singles like ‘Smack a B***h’, ‘Poppin’, ‘Kelly Lime OG’ and ‘Hey Arnold’.
Cut to 2020, the 23-year-old is now all geared up to drop her debut album with ‘Nightmare Vacation.’ Rico, known for her aesthetic and punk rap style, made the big announcement on her official Twitter account. She shared the cover art along with the caption which read, ‘Nightmare Vacation Dec 4th’ along with an emoticon of a lock.
Rico Nasty’s first full-length effort ‘Nightmare Vacation’ comes after her 2019 much-acclaimed mixtape titled ‘Anger Management’ which included hit singles like ‘Again’, ‘Sell Out’ and ‘Hatin’
Release date
As confirmed by the rapper’s official tweet, ‘Nightmare Vacation’ will hit the Internet on December 4, 2020.
Concept
While speaking to Grammy.com, Rico Nasty sheds light on the vision of her debut project saying, “I definitely feel like this is just a whole new vibe. It's a whole bunch of that overcoming, that, ‘Wow, I didn't think I could do this.’ And then actually do it and it sounds amazing. I look forward to that.”
Speaking on the same lines, she earlier told the Rolling Stone magazine that she wants her new album to be like Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ adding that she never shared something so close to her heart.
Tracklist
Rico Nasty has already dropped a few singles from her debut project namely ‘OHFR?’, ‘iPhone’, ‘Own It’ and ‘Don’t Like Me’ with an intention to spread the word about her new record. She is yet to announce the rest of the official tracklist for ‘Nightmare Vacation’. MEAWW will keep you posted on the same.
