'From our family to yours': Richard Gere and wife Alejandra Silva share rare pic of sons in X'Mas post
NORTH SALEM, NEW YORK: Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva shared a sweet photograph posing with their two young sons as they celebrated Christmas together at a tropical location. Silva posted the rare photo which shows the couple standing on a dock as they overlook a little lagoon area with their children by the water on her social media on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
“Merry Christmas from our family to yours,” she captioned the image, adding, “Love to all #FelizNavidad #MerryChristmas.” In the snap, her two sons had their backs facing the camera, concealing their faces in the process. The boys looked adorable in matching blue crocs with shorts and t-shirts, whereas their mother, 39, wore a yellow sundress. Gere, on the other hand, opted for a casual fit as he dressed up in blue shorts and a white T-shirt.

The couple's elder son is named Alexander, 3. They welcomed their second son in April 2020 whose name has not been revealed as of now. Gere also has another son named Homer, 22, with ex-wife Carey Lowell, while Silva has a son named Albert, 9, from a previous marriage.
Gere and Silva rarely talk much about their children and are extremely private about their family life. While the 73-year-old actor is not on social media, his wife shares little updates about their sons. However, there is yet to be an occasion where she showed off their faces. In October, Silva shared a snap with her sons as they spent time together on a pumpkin patch on her Instagram. Last year on December 25, she posted a snap with her little ones as she held them in her arms while they gazed at zebras.
The ‘Pretty Woman’ actor and Silva, a publicist, had a secret wedding in early 2017 after dating each other for four years. Silva took to her Instagram to mark their wedding anniversary with a gushing post in May 2020. “Today is the day I married the most wonderful man I have ever met, I know it sounds cliché but it’s true!!” read the caption of the post. “Comes from my heart, I’m so proud to be with you, to share this life with you, to be the mother of our children, to be your friend, to be your Wife!” she said, adding, “You make me sooo happy! You are the love of my life."
