BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Misunderstandings between Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are forcing them to butt heads at a difficult moment in their marriage. On Season 13 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' fans are learning what led to the couple's falling out, and Kyle is being chastised for attempting to “force” fights with her now-estranged husband.

Kyle confessed on the November 1 episode of 'RHOBH' that she felt alienated from her husband Mauricio as they prepared to celebrate their daughter Portia's 15th birthday dinner.

"We've always been on the same page and in sync, and right now it just does not feel like we are in sync," the 'Halloween Ends' actress told cameras before admitting how Mauricio's job was interfering with their quality time.

"It feels like lately that he has [been] consumed with The Agency and his work. He's running this big company and opening all over the world. I think that he's poured his heart and soul into The Agency," she continued, calling the company "the other woman."

The family started to come and take their places at the table. As the dinner proceeded, Kyle's mother-in-law Estella, cornered her to inquire about recent stories concerning their marriage's status.

"Everything is okay with you and Mauricio, right?" She inquired, worried. "Every time I open Google, there was something about you guys separating, divorcing, whatever. It got to a point in which I called Mauricio and I sent him a text, and I said, ‘Is everything okay?'"

Kyle revealed that the rumors about their marriage started when she was seen without her wedding band.

"I'm very taken aback that my mother-in-law is asking me this right now, tonight," she said. "Yes, Mo and I have been having a hard time, but the picture of me without my ring has nothing to do with that. I've still been wearing a wedding band. So why are people saying that because of one time when I was lifting weights before that?"

Kyle ran into Mauricio in the kitchen, still reeling from Estella's argument, and stated she didn't "feel relaxed at all." The real estate tycoon agreed, then pointed to a stack of mail on the counter, declaring that the sight of it was "embarrassing" with company over.

The 'RHOBH' stalwart was offended and walked out of the room, joining the rest of the family at the dinner table.

Alexia, Kyle and Mauricio's other daughter, pointed to her sister Farrah's tattoo before Portia opened her birthday gifts. Kyle said to the table, "She's testing it out, unlike me." Farrah raised her wrist and said the ink was temporary.

Mauricio's eyes popped out of his head at the discovery, and he discreetly told Kyle that he'd kept their tattoos hidden from his parents.

Kyle approached her in-laws after dinner and revealed that she had a few tattoos. Estella, to her surprise, didn't mind her tattoos and inquired if they were devoted to Mauricio. "No," she said. "That’s a jinx anyway. I don’t believe in that."

When Estella stated that she was aware of their daughter's tattoos, Kyle disclosed that Mauricio, too, was a proud owner of a tattoo. Kyle swiftly backtracked after detecting her mother-in-law's stunned response, stating, "Maybe he does? I don’t know."

Later, as Mauricio entered the kitchen to assist his daughter in lighting her birthday candles, Kyle confessed with a guilty expression, "I told your mom you had a tattoo."

"What is wrong with you?" he inquired, clearly angry, as Kyle sought to justify herself, claiming his mother "didn't care."

The 'Buying Beverly Hills' star questioned why she felt compelled to inform his parents of the news. "What is up with that?" he said before storming out of the room.

"Why did I open my mouth?" Kyle pondered this while speaking to the cameras. "I thought, 'Oh, okay, it'd be funny in the moment, wait to see her reaction.' But now his reaction? I really wish I had not said anything."

Kyle later approached Mauricio at the dinner table, feeling the pain of being in the doghouse, and stated that there was ambiguity in her confession to his mother.

The broker tossed her apologies aside and abruptly ended the chat as he said, "I don't want to talk about it right now."

"Oh, this is what people talk about when they go through a rough time," Kyle said as she walked away from an irritated Mauricio. "Well, here we are."

Seeing Kyle in Episode 2, one person tweeted, "Is it just me or does Kyle seem like a *completely* different person this season?" Another X user added, "Kyle was working Mauricio’s nerves, aired out their mess to his family and then swiped his card for a cute jet with the girls."

Further blaming Kyle, one person tweeted, "Kyle is trying to produce issues between her and mauricio. it’s giving forced. like why do all this at your daughter already stiff birthday party?"

In October, Mauricio opened up about the current status of their marriage. "She and I currently are separated, but we are not throwing in the towel," he said to People.
