Then, Kyle who is Mauricio's estranged wife felt hurt by their public actions. A few hours before, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum was asked about their rumored romance during an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.'
The reality TV star said, “That was very hard to see. Yeah that was, I mean, yes, that hurt my feelings. I love him very much, and we are amicable, but that really did hurt me.”
She added, “I mean, holding hands like that. I mean, Andy… I really don’t — why are you doing this to me? I just don’t think you hold hands like that [if you’re friends].”
Umansky has now finally broken his silence on the romance rumors swirling in the air.
On October 26, 2023, Umanksy took to his Instagram Story and said, “For full clarity we are not dating. We’ve been dancing together now for six weeks, four hours a day every single day.”
He further added, “We’re really good friends," meanwhile Slater stated that the ABC dance show can be “intense” and they’ve grown a “very special bond” because of that.
However, the internet is not ready to buy the claims made by Umansky. Many social media users shared their views on his rumored romance with Slater.

Slater and Umansky were recently snapped holding hands while out and about on a romantic dinner date in Beverly Hills.
In the images of the pair that have surfaced online, the pro dancer and the luxury real estate agent dined at Matsuhisa before heading to an outdoor bar.
The pair even shared a few kisses, as per Page Six. She had her arm wrapped around his waist.
Their outing reportedly went on for 3 hours.

Kyle is the one who initiated her separation from her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky.
