'RHOA' alum Kim Zolciak sells wigs for $2.7K amid nasty divorce and custody battle with Kroy Biermann
ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA: Kim Zolciak is selling her wigs in an attempt to get some additional money. 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star is selling her favorite items, including her distinctive blonde wigs from the smash reality program.
Kim's divorce from her estranged spouse, Kroy Biermann, made headlines before the pair openly grappled with financial troubles. Kim's net worth is believed to be $300,000, according to Celebrity Net Worth. She is, however, apparently in debt and appears to be struggling financially. Kim and Kroy failed to repay a $300,000 loan put out on their marital home in Alpharetta, Georgia, in October 2022. The property was eventually put into foreclosure and was set to be auctioned off on March 7, 2023. The 'Don't Be Tardy' stars worked out a last-minute arrangement in February to save the property and avoid it from being auctioned by Truist Bank. Kim and Kroy's financial problems were revealed further on May 8 when TMZ claimed that they owe the IRS $1.1 million in back taxes, interest, and penalties from 2013, 2017, and 2018.

Six of the seven wigs are blond, with one being brunette. Each comes with a big price tag, with some being more costly than others. The most expensive wigs in the collection, four lace front wigs in various colors and designs, are on sale for $2,750. The cheapest wigs on the site are still priced at a stunning $1,500. So far, it appears that only one of the wigs has been sold.
Kroy claims Kim’s ‘gambling’ problem ‘financially devastated’ family
According to fresh legal docs acquired by TMZ, Kroy claims his separated wife Kim has an online gambling issue that has "devastated their family financially." The couple filed for divorce over two weeks ago, with the separation soon becoming acrimonious as they both seek sole physical custody of their children, with Kroy also seeking sole legal custody.
Kroy claims Kim has engaged in "very troubling behavior," stating she disclosed to him that she spends a lot of time and money on online gambling, which she describes as a "compulsion."
Kim's gambling habit, according to Kroy, is interfering with her capacity to care for their four small children, and he is concerned for their safety and well-being. He now wants her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation because he feels her gambling addiction is the result of "underlying mental health issues" like depression or bipolar illness.
During their nasty divorce, Kim insisted that Kroy undergo a drug test.
