The film ‘Resurrection’ is being released globally by IFC Pictures in theatres and on VoD by August 5, 2022. It would be streaming digitally on Shudder by November 2022.

What is the plot of ‘Resurrection’?

The storyline of the film is about Margaret (Rebecca Hall) who is a single parent to her daughter and also is successful in her career. She leads an ordinary and mundane lifestyle with her daughter Abbie. But this control and normalcy go for a toss with the arrival of her ex David (Tim Roth). David carries the horrors of Margaret’s past.

The official synopsis reads, “Margaret (Rebecca Hall) leads a successful and orderly life, perfectly balancing the demands of her busy career and single parenthood to her fiercely independent daughter Abbie. Everything is under control. But that careful balance is upended when an unwelcome shadow from her past, David (Tim Roth) returns, carrying with him the horrors of Margaret’s past. Battling her rising fear, Margaret must confront the monster she’s evaded for two decades who has come to conclude their unfinished business”.
