The upcoming Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, will see top musical artists like Katy Perry, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan beginning their residencies this year. The residencies will start from November 2021 onwards, kicking off with Celine Dion's show titled 'Celine', followed by the other singers in consecutive months. Speaking about the residencies, all the stars expressed ample enthusiasm about performing at the brand new luxury venue. 

"It’s a beautiful privilege to have another show in Vegas,” said Celine Dion, while Katy Perry added, "Vegas is in my blood." The four artists have so far been finalized for residencies at the new property which will open its doors for the public in June 2021. The Theatre at Resorts World Casino (RWLasVegas)

Venue

The venue for the shows will be the luxury 5000-seater state-of-the-art auditorium, christened 'The Theatre'. 

"The Theatre will include two private lounges, special access bars, and VIP opportunities. The entire experience is wrapped within our cascade of entertainment, starting with our Dawg House Saloon & Sportsbook and over 40 captivating hotspots," reads the description of the entertainment venue on their website

The Resorts World Las Vegas property is located at South Las Vegas Boulevard. 

Celine Dion - 'Celine'

Celine Dion returns to Las Vegas with an "intimate, imaginative production" on November 5, 2021. The opening night will feature a special performance to benefit Covid-19 relief.

The program will start from 7:30 pm onwards every night and the doors will be opening one hour prior to the show. 

Carrie Underwood - 'Reflection'

Carrie Underwood's residency, titled 'Reflection' will kick off from December 1, 2021, at The Theatre. The show will start at 8 pm and the doors will be opened one hour prior. 

The description for her show reads - "Three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, Carrie Underwood, will be live in Las Vegas with REFLECTION, an exciting, all-new production opening December 1, 2021, at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas."

Speaking to Rolling Stone about 'Reflection', Underwood said, “I’ve always been interested in the idea of a residency at some point and when this opportunity came up, to be a part of something all-new from the ground level, I was so excited to get involved."

Katy Perry - 'Play'

Katy Perry's 'Play' which starts on December 29, 2021, is described to be a "larger than life show" that will be played in a sparkling new way at the Entertainment Capital of the World.

"Ten years ago, Vegas was a different story. They’ve been doing revamping and remodeling during this downtime [over the last year] to focus on what people want, what the next generation wants," Perry said talking about her residency. She added that the focus will be less on gambling and more on "experiences." 

Luke Bryan 

The name and other details about Luke Bryan's residency are yet to be finalized. However, it has been announced that the show will start on February 11, 2022. 

Talking about the show, he shared, "I can say that it will be different from the shows the fans will see on the road. We want the Vegas show to be unique to that room and want them to leave saying, ‘Wow, I need to catch him on tour.’ Just like we want the fans on tour to leave those concerts saying, ‘I really want to see his Vegas show."
