The last year 2020 was tough, but for those of us who discovered the pleasures of Korean dramas, it was a bit easier to take. We got some amazing viewing experiences thanks to dramas like 'Crash Landing On You', 'It's Okay to not be Okay', 'Start-up' and more. Some dramas premiered in 2020 and are continuing in 2021 like 'True Beauty' and 'Lovestruck in the City'. 2021 also brings us some great dramas to look forward to.

One of them is 'Replay: The Moment When It Starts Again'. Based on the title, we assume that the web drama will have multiple seasons featuring different stories. But let's take a look at what the first season of the series is about, its cast (that includes K-pop idols), and when and where you can watch it.

Release date

'Replay: The Moment When It Starts Again' will premiere on OTT platforms on January 19. It will be available for viewing on the YouTube channel Like That from Tuesday, January 26. New episodes will be released on YouTube every Tuesday and Friday at 7 pm Korean Standard Time. This becomes Wednesday and Saturday at 5 am EST for viewers in the United States.

Plot

The official synopsis for 'Replay: The Moment When It Starts Again' states: "'Replay' will be a relatable romance story about the dreams and love of 18-year-olds during the time when they are most clumsy, insecure, and innocent. Like the title, the drama will be told by replaying the past in the present time." Based on the premise, we assume that the 'Replay' series will be quite like the 'Reply' series which often nostalgically told stories of the past.

Cast

The cast for 'Replay: The Moment When It Starts Again' includes (G)I-DLE's MiYeon, Kim MinChul, SF9's HwiYoung, Choi JiSoo, and H.B.Y's Marco as the lead actors. MiYeon plays Yoo HaYoung, the vocalist of the band who has no filter. Kim MinChul plays Gong ChanYoung, the shy keyboardist who has something special.

HwiYoung plays Lee JiHoon, the cool guitarist who is interested in HaYoung. Choi JiSoo plays Im SeoEun, the lead bassist and a big Kpop fan. Marco plays the childish drummer of the band. The show also stars Kwon HyukSoo as Lee InHo, a sound engineer.
